Xiaomi 15 Series Global Launch: The Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has officially announced the global launch date for the Xiaomi 15 series, although the Lancing Date of India is still expected. The company is expected to reveal two models – Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. In particular, these smartphones were first launched in China in October last year, and the Indian variant is expected to have comparable specifications.
Xiaomi will debut the Xiaomi 15-series on 2 March, just before Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. Rumors suggest that the Ultra variant will be available in three color options: black, white and a panda-like black and white. The series is expected to be performed on Hyperos 2.0, based on Android 15.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra -price (expected)
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be launched on CNY 6,499 (approximately RS 78,000), although the final price in India can vary due to taxes and other factors. In the meantime, the Xiaomi 15 is expected to start at CNY 4,499 (approximately RS 53,000).
Xiaomi 15 Specifications (expected)
The Xiaomi 15 is expected to have a 6.36-inch OLED display with a 1.5k resolution, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and ultra-slim 1.38 mm bezels. It can accommodate a robust 5,500 mAh battery with 90W wired and quickly charge 50W wirelessly.
The device, together with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, probably offers a basic configuration of 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, with options up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. On the photography ffront, the camera options include a Leica-driven three-ferrous camera system led by a 50Mp primary sensor, a 32MP camera on the front and 3x optical zoom.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to have a larger 6.73-inch 2k micro quad-bent display and a powerful 6.100 mAh battery, which wired 90W and supports 50 W wirelessly quickly. The smartphone could have a 50MP Triple-Camera setup, but stands out with a telephone lens in a periscope style, making a maximum of 5x optical zoom possible.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra are expected to offer a basic configuration of 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, with upgrade options that extend to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
