Two dead after photographing near Augusta Health Clinic in Crozet

Croret, va. (WHSV) – Two people died and another was taken to a hospital after Schoten were fired near an Augusta Health Clinic and Harris Teeter store in the Blue Ridge shopping center in Crozet on Monday afternoon.

The Albemarle County Police Department was sent to the shopping center at about 1:35 pm after several reports from Schoten and found three Scot of Victims on arrival. Two were pronounced and another was transported to UvA Medical Center.

From Monday 5:30 pm ACPD said that officers believe that the suspect started shooting in the parking lot and hit two others. A good Samaritan who leaves and then used the suspected shooter with their own weapon. The suspected shooter was declared dead on the spot and the good Samaritan was not injured.

The identities of the deceased are not public pending the report of the relatives, ACPD said.

The police recovered two weapons on the spot and one of them was a gun. ACPS is still investigating the relationship between the Scottish victims.

No one in the Augusta Health Clinic in the mall was injured; Everyone inside was safe and responsible, according to a release of Augusta Health.

Although the research of the ACPD and the Virginia State Police is underway, ACPD said there is no further risk for the public.
