Ubisoft has confirmed that it is about to reinvent his premiere Tactical Shooter: Rainbow Six Siege X is finally on the way. The studio describes it as “a new era” for the game, with a series of upgrades in the entire experience. Siege will be ten years old this year and Ubisoft is celebrating the milestone with a new season, operator and this sequel in everything but name.
After rumors were implemented that a follow -up/reinvention was on the road, Ubisoft gave us a glimpse of what we can expect. Rainbow Six Siege X is “the biggest transformation in the history of the game” and is stacked with “graphic and audio -upgrades, deepened tactical gameplay and new ways to play the game.” We do not fully know what the new version of the multiplayer game will still look like, but this is a solid indication that Siege X will represent a huge jump in quality.
From now on, the Rainbow Six Siege X leaks next to year 10 season 2 – which should be around June 2025. Ubisoft does not only have Siege X teasing. The first season is called Operation PrEP phase and includes the new Rainbox Six Siege operator Rauora.

The new character comes with two primary weapons to choose between: the 417 designated Marksman or the M249 Light Machine Gun. She also has the GSH-18 9mm pistol and the Reaper MK2 machine gun as her secondary options. However, the majority of the Rauora kit is easily the usable Omnilink Mesh (Dom) world. This “Bulletproof Smart Cover System” can only be used in doors and completely block them. But the Dom can also open and let drones pass under it.
Rainbow Six Siege X comes at the right time for Ubisoft. The studio has delayed the release date of Assassin’s Creed Shadows several times, his free shooter XdeFiant is closed after just over a year and Star Wars Outlaws was not the SCI-Fi Megahit that the developer hoped. Rainbow Six Siege, on the other hand, is still a huge success, so I hope that the X -kicking is going well.
Ubisoft broadcasts the Rainbow Six Siege X showcase on Thursday 13 March at 10.00 am pt / 13:00 et / 18:00 GMT and Friday, March 14 at 5 am AEDT. The unveiling will take place on the Rainbow Six Siege Twitch channel.
