Protesters gather outside of Tesla showrooms throughout the country: ‘Stop Musk’

Protesters throughout the country gathered outside of Tesla showrooms on Saturday to protest against CEO Elon Musk’s leadership of the cost-saving initiative of President Donald Trump.

Protesters in cities such as New York, Seattle and Los Angeles wore drawing with the expression “Stop Musk”, signaling about his narrow ties with the agenda of Trump, the Guardian reported.

Protests against doge take place in Washington, DC since 3 February. Critics claim that Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) dismantles illegally and firing federal employees.

“We are attacked by billionaires,” said an ex-federal employee, Hanna Hickman, who was recently fired under Doge’s unwavering Purge.

The campaign contribution of Musk $ 200 million in the Trump election campaign has raised alarms at Tesla investors, for fear of sales in liberal strongholds such as California.

The Financial Times said that Tesla’s share value has fallen by 12% since the beginning of this year. Tesla experienced his first annual turnover decrease last year.

In the meantime, the sale of Tesla in Germany fell nearly 60% after Musk had brought himself into the elections of the nation and had in line with extreme right -wing politics.

Musk even pulled the anger of the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who gave a rather rejecting view of Musk’s control over German politics: “Don’t feed the troll.”

Celebrities joined the return – Sheryl Crow sold her Tesla and said: “You are with whom you hang around.”

The political attitude of Musk could reform Tesla’s customer base – additional trading of liberal buyers for conservative.

Trump signed an order to kill the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) of the Department of Labor, which was initially investigating Tesla for discrimination in the workplace.

Time Magazine mocked Trump’s government by placing a photo of “President Elon Musk” on the cover of the publication in response to his growing presence in American politics.

Musk’s offer to buy Sam Altman’s OpenAi, a lawsuit of which he left after a failed attempt to merge the company with Tesla has led Altman to speak about the spit publicly.

Trump’s staff said that the president was “furious” at Musk for pans of his $ 500 billion artificial intelligence (AI) deal called the Stargate project with OpenAI.

“They don’t really have the money,” said Musk in an X -post that refers to the project with Soft Bank that includes as chairman and OpenAi as an important initial technical partner.

“I wish he would just compete by building a better product,” Altman said in an interview with Bloomberg TV. “His whole life is probably out of a position of uncertainty. I don’t think he is a happy person. I feel for him.”
