San Antonio, February 19, 2025 – The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio) earned a study 1 (R1) Instruction of the American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching in their 2025 Carnegie Classifications of Institations of Institations of Institations of Institations of Institations of Institations of Higher Education. The R1 indication of UT Health San Antonio is based on the exceptional research spending and the number of people with a research-oriented doctorate, usually a doctorate.
