Super Mario 64 Speedrunner’s Run does not count after a technical error

Bubzia, a renowned speed runner that is known for his attempts to shoot through games while wore a blindfold, almost broke his world record for Super Mario 64. Except, if he did, it would not have been counted.

The reason? His webcam was eliminated early in his run. Those who blindfold Speedrun games must have their webcams for the entire run, to prove that no mess has taken place.

Of course, blindfolded and so, Bubzia was not aware of the technical accident and continued to keep his flight, so that his record -breaking pace was maintained.

In the end, the world record would not be the case. The skilled streamer ended shy for about a minute to bind his own goal, which means that although the run was invalid, at least it was not a record -breaking.

With so much at stake, his chat hoped that he did not broken the record. “Take your time,” wrote a user in the stream. Another chimde with: “I pray for his downfall.”

It is perhaps one of the first cases of someone who hopes you will fail, but with good intentions behind it. After all, there would be few things more than setting a record just not to count. Fortunately, it seems that the gamer has found a way to reduce camera problems in the future. In an updated message on Twitter, they noted that they were not only solved the problem, but also think of a solution. Everything is good that ends well, we assume, although most of us would probably have beaten a controller in comparable circumstances.
