Team Update – Upcoming Events and Policy – News | Lost Ark

Heroes of Arkesia,

We have seen a lot of community discussion in recent months and wanted to take the time to clarify our position on Bussing -related topics and some policy adjustments. First we will handle some details for the upcoming update and then dive into policy adjustments that have been built to make the Party Finder Tool a better experience.

Updates February

Wildsoul + progression -events

The newest class – Wildsoul – will arrive in addition to progression events that have been built to support it, including a South Kurzan PowerPass, the latest Mokoko Express event and a third event in the work (Spoiler Alert, expect some help with Advanced Honing) . We usually see a larger number of returning players for new class releases and progression events and want to ensure that they are not only supported by in-game systems, but also the wider lost Ark community.

Mokoko Bootcamp

To further learn the ropes, or to brush rusty transfers skills, we bring back the Mokoko Bootcamp event. Feedback from the community that came from the debut of the event was extremely useful, and something that we will continue to look at the second iteration of the event. We are investigating solutions in the longer term to turn the event into a permanent system, but were not ready to roll out those changes in time for the Wildsoul release and progression events. This version of the Mokoko Bootcamp includes players who had not logged in within the last 60 days, or made a new account within the last 60 days, and who are below item level 1670. For the more permanent solution we will continue evaluating what a mokoko defines. This event runs for a few months, similar to the initial iteration (with some renewed and updated rewards) while we continue to check in-game data and feedback from players on our path to make it a more permanent system.

Players will notice revision for the rewards, including a new special “Mokoko Legion Commander” title. We have seen a lot of feedback on the volume of other available rewards and will make them to ensure that the event is worthwhile for all players. And as we know that you are curious, although the event itself does not engrave a selector with relic, there will be one that arrives elsewhere for players in the update of February. We hope that the special chase items together with raised tones and other progression materials will make it worthwhile for everyone.

We look forward to seeing how this event helps to support new and returning players participating in the update of February and will follow your feedback while we try to strengthen the future of Mokoko Bootcamp.

Party Finder Policy adjustments and memories

Given the context that is discussed about supporting returning players and in combination with the return of the Mokoko Bootcamp, we will no longer allow buses and other services of the In-Game Party Finder Tool. Our goal is to promote a better party finder experience for new or returning players where they can find learning groups better with each other, or find an experienced party who is willing to show a mokoko in exchange for Mokoko Bootcamp Event Tokens.

During the first two weeks (from tomorrow February 18), players who violate the new policy will receive a 15 -minute suspension as a first time reminder and warning, with subsequent penalties that start at 1 day, with escalating punishments (up to a week (until A week long and month -long suspensions) after the two -week period has been completed, suspension of the policy will follow on 1 day and then the escalating penalties for repeated violations. Promotions will also run the same fine.

Bussing in Lost Ark has always been a “at your own risk” activity. Gold, items or materials that are accepted from other players can be attached to a history of evil loyalty and subject for removal. Players can receive fines if they receive illegal articles because it can be difficult to verify the intention for payments that include gold generated by bots or former RMT, and must appeal against the decision with appropriate evidence.

As a last note, while we are talking about making the party finder a more hospitable experience, we wanted to give a reminder that offering pilot services is a serious violation and will be corresponding fines, including permanent forbidden.
